Unlock 3.0: Yoga centers & gyms to open from 5th, schools and colleges shut till 31st Aug

The new guidelines state that gyms and yoga centers will be allowed to open from August 5th, but will have standard operating procedures. Cinemas, swimming pools, theatres, bars, entertainment parks and other recreational activities will not be opening in the current phase.
Schools, colleges, and other institutions will remain shut till August 31st. In the meanwhile, the government will be encouraging online and distance education.
International air travel and metro rails will also not resume activities.
The government also stated that Independence Day functions will be allowed to take place at National, State, District, Sub-Division, Municipal, and Panchayat levels. However, they will have to be performed under social distancing and with other health precautions.
As for containment zones, lockdown will remain to be in force till August 31st.

The Central government imposed a nationwide lockdown on March 24th, after the number of COVID-19 cases started surging. The first phase of Unlock started on May 31st.
