Vanasthalipuram ACP S. Jayaram suspended for immoral activities
By Newsmeter Network Published on 18 Aug 2020 10:31 AM ISTHyderabad: Vanasthalipuram Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) S. Jayaram was placed under suspension on charges of ‘misconduct’.
Orders to this effect were issued from the office of Director-General of Police.
The ACP was accused of being involved in immoral activities apart from favoring a group in a land dispute at Basaram village in Abdullapurmet. There were allegations that the ACP was asking the aggrieved party to comprise on the issue.
After the probe, he was placed under suspension. The ACP was working at Vanasthalipuram for the last few months.
“We have suspended the ACP on charges of immoral activities apart from his alleged involvement in a civil dispute,” a senior police official said.
Also, Inspector K Chander Kumar working in the special branch of Hyderabad Police has been suspended by the Commissioner of Police Hyderabad for behaving improperly with a woman.
