Hyderabad: Mega hero Varun Tej as 'Gaddalakonda Ganesh' has grabbed the attention of all by proving his calibre in the off-beat, mass role. With Harish Shankar as director, the movie Gaddalakonda Ganesh is the official remake of Tamil's hit movie 'Jigarthanda'. The movie was initially titled 'Valmiki', but due to last-minute tensions was renamed 'Gaddalakonda Ganesh'.
It was earlier reported that the film fraternity received shockwaves with this incident. The makers of Valmiki were given a legal notice hours before the movie could hit the screens and were forced to change the title to Gaddalakonda Ganesh. Despite the hurdles, the movie made a good impact at the box-office. The makers of Gaddalakonda Ganesh organized a success meet today.
Varun Tej who is buoyed by the response he has been receiving had thanked everyone and credited his director for making the movie a hit.
