70 year old uprooted tree, saved by nemophilists in Sircilla

A 70-year-old Banyan tree weighing approximately 100-tonnes fell four months ago owing to torrential rains in the Sircilla district of Telangana. However, the same tree now stands behind the Sircilla Secretariat. It was here by using a 'Bahubali' Crane. The Secretariat is about 6 km away from where it fell. Watch how with the efforts of Environmental activists the tree has been given a second chance to live.
