`Chief Minister's Breakfast Scheme’ launched; Telangana govt to feed 23L school students

Telangana on Friday launched the `Chief Minister's Breakfast Scheme’ for school children.

The scheme envisages to feed about 23 lakh government school students.

KTR launched the scheme at the Government School, West Marredpally in Secunderabad, while other Ministers formally launched the scheme at different locations.

Speaking after the launch, KTR said, "The scheme will be implemented for 23 lakh students throughout 27,147 government schools across the state. The breakfast is very nutritious. I have also tasted the food."

He asked the officials to ensure the food quality is maintained and random samples are collected to test the quality frequently and regularly.
