Under the Centre's initiative to reduce carbon emissions in all major cities by 2030, the Secunderabad Division of South Central Railway has been awarded a contract for setting up E-Vehicle Charging stations at 32 important stations. Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager In-charge, South Central Railway appreciated Secunderabad Division officials for taking steps for saving the environment. He said Indian Railways has consistently been taking several initiatives towards sustainable mass transportation while ensuring a green environment and clean energy. He said this marks another important step in this direction.
