NIRF rankings 2022: UoH, Osmania University among top 25 universities in India
On the other hand, the International Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, ranked 9th in the engineering category, 12th in the research category, and 14th in the overall category.

Several universities from Telangana have made it to the list of top 25 universities in the country, as per the National Institutional Ranking Framework 2022 (NIRF 2022). The results were announced on Friday by the minister of education Dharmendra Prasad in New Delhi. Osmania University has ranked 22nd in the universities category and 46th in the overall category. OU retained its position as the best state university in Telangana. It should be noted that no university from Telangana has ranked in the top 100 in the architecture, medical, or dental categories.
