The students of the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions (TSWREIS) proved their mettle by securing an overall pass percentage of 98.14%, higher than the state average pass percentage of 90%, in the Secondary School Examination (SSC) for the academic year 2021-22. Of the 18,545 TSWREIS students who appeared for the exam, 18,000 students passed. A total of 126 institutions under TSWREIS secured a 100% pass percentage and 287 students achieved a 10/10 Grade Point Average (GPA). Koppula Eeshwar, the state minister for the Scheduled Caste development department, congratulated TSWREIS students for their remarkable feat and appreciated the teachers for shaping the destiny of the underprivileged students through quality education.
