Watch: Here is a look at the new Parliament building

The newly-constructed Parliament building has been inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on May 28.

Narendra Modi installed the historic Sengol in the Lok Sabha chamber, right next to the Speaker's chair.

The triangular-shaped four-storey Parliament building will have three main gates -- Gyan Dwar, Shakti Dwar, and Karma Dwar. The new Parliament building, constructed by Tata Projects Ltd, will have a grand constitution hall to showcase India's democratic heritage, a lounge for members of Parliament, a library, multiple committee rooms, dining areas and ample parking space.
