Fact check:

This claim is FALSE.

Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU), the Nodal Agency for conducting CLAT 2020, issued an official notice on its website that a document purporting to be a notification issued by the Consortium announcing the postponement of the CLAT 2020 is being shared. It clearly states that the notice is fake and has not been issued by the Consortium. The date of the CLAT 2020 examination, and all other particulars, regarding CLAT 2020 examination remain the same.

Below is the statement released by CNLU:

NALSAR Vice-Chancellor Dr. Faizan Mustafa also confirmed to 'LIVELAW' that the date remains unchanged and that the circular shared over social media is fake. 'LIVELAW' tweeted this news on its official twitter account and stated that no meeting was held to discuss the postponement.

A close look at the viral image showed that the alignment in the notice is improper. The words 'Contact No.' in the viral picture is not aligned properly which indicates that the image is not from an official source as no official notice would make such a mistake.

Therefore, the claim that the CLAT 2020 exam has been postponed is FALSE.
