Vizag man murdered in Saudi Arabia

Visakhapatnam: A man from Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh was allegedly murdered in Al- Kharma in Saudi Arabia (WHEN). The victim was identified as Abdul Ayaz a native of Bapatla Town in Guntur district. He had gone to Saudi Arabia a few years ago.

According to reports, Abdul Ayaz was working as a sales supervisor with the National Agricultural Development Company (Nadec). Three days ago, he and a colleague got into an argument. The colleague beat him up and Ayaz succumbed to his injuries. The accused was nabbed by the Saudi Arabia police.

Abdul Ayaz’s daughter Sameena Shaik on Friday posted on Twitter that her father was murdered and it would take around 14 days for the body to arrive. She requested the ministry of external affairs and others to take steps to bring back the body of her father as soon as possible.

However, the city police are yet to receive information in this regard. Ayaz’s body has been kept in the Al Kharma General Hospital and police are investigating the case.
