Warangal Nursing school Incharge principal caught red-handed accepting bribe

Hyderabad: In-charge Principal of Nursing school, Warangal Ms Lakavath Satish Kumari was trapped by the sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau -Telangana for demanding bribe of Rs 40,000. The lady was caught red-handed in her office chambers, on January 30th.
The ACB sleuths were acting on a complaint filed by Ms. Balguri Jyothi. The accused, a grade II tutor demanded kickbacks to issue a relieving order to the complainant certifying that she completed 3 years period of general nursing midwifery(GNM) training.
āThe incharge principal through her conduit Thippani Shobha Rani,who is also a tutor at the Nursing college, were caught red-handed accepting the bribeā, said an ACB officer.
The sleuths recovered the bribe money besides arresting the tutors.
While, a day ago ACB officials of Andhra Pradesh arrested the Principal of AP tribal welfare residential school, in K V Palle Piler of Chittoor district. He was trapped for demanding bribe of Rs 2 lakh from a vegetable supplier.
According to ACB officials, complainant R. Khadar Vali , a contractor supplied vegetable to the residential school. However, the bills of Khadar Vali, were not cleared since August 2019, amounting to Rs 5.15 lakh. Taking advantage of the same the principal demanded kickbacks of Rs 1 lakh to pass the bills.
Acting upon a complaint filed by the vegetable supplier, the officials of Anti-Corruption Bureau, laid a trap and caught the principal red-handed. He was arrested by Tirupati ACB officials in his office chamber while accepting bribe.
