Will Kajal’s loss be Anushka Shetty’s gain in Chiru 152?

Hyderabad: Hunt is on to find a suitable replacement for Trisha in Chiranjeevi's upcoming project 'Acharya’.

Acharya boasted of a stellar cast. Trisha was roped in to play the female lead. However, she is said to have opted out due to creative differences.

Filmmakers have been on the lookout ever since to find a suitable replacement for Trisha. Filmmakers later zeroed in on two names --Kajal Aggarwal and Anushka Shetty.

Kajal Aggarwal has however demanded a huge fee for playing the role. Filmmakers are now considering Anushka Shetty for the role. More clarity about the decision is further awaited.

The film is said to be an action entertainer set in the backdrop of Naxalism. Produced by Chiranjeevi's son and fellow actor Ram Charan, the movie will be directed by Koratla Siva.

Chiranjeevi will be seen playing dual roles-- one of a middle-aged man named Acharya and the other of a 30-year-old named Govind.

The film also stars biggies like Sonu Sood, who was added to the cast recently.

Meanwhile, Anushka is busy promoting her upcoming release Nishabdam, which is directed by Hemant Madhukar. The movie stars R Madhavan in the lead. The movie is all set to release on April 2 in Telugu, Tamil and English.

In English, it is named as 'Silence’. The trailer has attracted a lot of attention on twitter. Srinivas Avasarala, Shalini Pandey, Anjali and Micheal Madsen are playing different characters in the movie.
