The Chief Minister Mr Reddy inaugurated the classrooms and hostel buildings at IIT at Etcherla on Friday. Later, Mr Reddy interacted with students and assured them of all the facilities including an incubation centre to enhance their skills.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Reddy further added that āthe state government will provide employment opportunities by developing the industrial sector. He also explained that vacant posts in all the government departments will recruit every year. For this, the notification schedule is scheduled for January 1st every year. I have arrived here within 100 days after the swearing-in ceremony as CM.ā
Former Chief Minister, late DR YS Rajasekhara Reddy, started IITs to provide quality technical education to rural students, free of cost, and we will support it in all aspects, added Mr Reddy.
