Hyderabad: A student from Hyderabad died after he accidentally fell from a multi-storied building in Canada on Sunday.

Identified as Akhil, he was pursuing higher studies in Toronto, Canada. His family lives at Vanasthalipuram in the city. After receiving the news, Akhil's family approached Minister KT Rama Rao for help.

"@KTRTRS Respected sir. My brother's son Panyam Akhil met with an accidental fall in Toronto, Canada. We are clueless how to go about bringing the body to Hyderabad. Request help in bringing the body to Hyderabad. Kindly help us in this moment of grief, sir," tweeted Akhil's uncle Babji.

According to sources, Akhil had gone to Canada for Hotel Management studies. He returned home in March during the Covid 19 pandemic. In October, he traveled back to Canada after the situation improved. On November 8, he was on the balcony of his flat on the 27th floor when he slipped while talking on mobile.
