Yashoda Hospital's cardiologist suspected of committing suicide

Hyderabad: A cardiologist working with Yashoda Hospital, Secunderabad, was found dead at his Suchitra home in Kompally here on Friday. Police suspect that the 33-year-old G Subash, working as an assistant cardiologist in the hospital, could have committed suicide.

Hailing from erstwhile Adilabad district, Subash has been working at the hospital for the past couple of years, His wife is also a doctor. The two married in 2017 after being in a relationship for more than a year. However, due to family disputes, his wife left and began living with her parents since some months. He reportedly made several attempts for a compromise, but in vain. This drove him to the extreme step, is the general assumption.

On Friday morning, when his parents went to his room to wake him, they found him lying in an unconscious state. They rushed him to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared he was brought dead.

Based on a complaint from his parents, Petbasheerabad police of Cyberabad commissionrate registered a suspicious death case and started investigation. Only after getting the post-mortem report would they know the cause of death, said police officials.
