Since late Saturday evening, the following message was found widely spread in social media across Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka.
The image says that the chairman of Vijaya Hospital in Chennai is N. Viswanathan and his son Sarath Reddy is also a director of the hospital. Forty-three-year-old Sarath Reddy died due to Coronavirus. The message alerts the public to be careful that no one, even the person who owns a hospital, can escape from the Coronavirus.

Vijaya Hospital Group runs Vijaya Hospital and Vijaya Health Centre at Vadapalani in Chennai. The group is founded by B. Nagi Reddy, publisher of children's magazine 'Chandamama', founder of Vijaya Vauhini Studios. One of Nagi Reddy's sons, Viswanatha Reddy is the chief administrative officer of the hospital while other family members are trustees, as per the hospital website http://vijayahospital.org
Sarath Reddy is the son of Viswanatha Reddy and he is said to be 52-year-old.
NewsMeter called Vijaya Hospital at 044-66646660 and 044-66616660 and inquired about the rumour being spread on social media.
Hospital customer relations officer Jeeva confirmed that B. Sarath Reddy, son of B. Viswanatha Reddy and grandson of B. Nagi Reddy died of Coronavirus on June 19. Jeeva said that Sarath Reddy was infected by the virus a few days ago and put on a ventilator at Vijaya Health Centre before he breathed his last.
