Hyderabad: Olympic-medallist Yogeshwar Dutt joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the party headquarters in Haryana on Thursday. While addressing media, the wrestler said that he had been following Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Influenced by the PM, he decided to join the party.

He further added, “I joined politics aiming to serve the people and our nation. PM Modi quite influences me, and I have been following him for a long time. With the PM’s good work in the country, I have learnt that it can be applied to politics as well. That’s why more people should come forward to serve the nation, including sportspersons. I thank the party.”
