Youth arrested for harassing advocate with sexually explicit messages on WhatsAPP

Hyderabad: Rachakonda Cyber Crime police on Saturday arrested Mota Durga Prasad, 23, under Sections 354 D, 509 IPC and 67A of IT Act for harassing an advocate by sending sexually explicit photos and messages through WhatsApp.
During the course of investigation taken upon credible information, police found technical evidence regarding the same. During interrogation, he admitted to having committed the offence.
Durga Prasad is addicted to watching porn websites on the internet and he used to collect mobile numbers of girls from social media platforms and used to send them sexually explicit content through WhatsApp, said the police.
He also made video calls frequently to innocent women and blackmailed them by demanding to send their nude pictures. If they refused, he used to threaten them of posting their mobile numbers on porn websites on the internet, said the police.
The accused was previously arrested in 2017 under Sections 506, 354D IPC & 66E, 67 of IT Act and under Section 354 C of IPC by Rachakonda and Miyapur police.
Even after that, he did not change his attitude and was found involved in the following cases, added the police.
The police seized a mobile phone along with porn content and many mobile numbers of innocent girls.
