Youth stabbed to death in front of mother in Nalgonda

Hyderabad: A group of people armed with spears and rods brutally killed a youngster in front of his mother in Nalgonda district on Wednesday morning.

Revanth Kumar along with his mother was going to a neighboring village to fetch milk when the incident happened. It is suspected that a dispute over an old case led to the murder.

Belonging to Haliya in the district, Revanth’s family is into milk business. On Wednesday morning, he along with his mother were on their way to the neighboring Hazarigudem village. When they reached the outskirts of the village, a group of men intercepted their bike. The assailants immediately pounced on Revanth, stabbed him repeatedly and killed him on the spot.

All this happened in less than five minutes time. His mother was lying on the ground a few meters away. “He was still breathing when I reached him. We have settled the issue with them and police also knew that. But they still killed my son,” she said.
