YSRCP leader PVP booked for threatening neighbor

Hyderabad: Banjara Hills police have registered a case against YSRCP leader and famous filmmaker Prasad V Potluri aka PVP for allegedly threatening his neighbor Vikram Kailas.

Kailas, a resident of Prem Parvat Villas at Road no 14 of Banjara Hills, complained to Banjara Hills police alleging that PVP along with some goons ransacked his home and threatened him with dire consequences.

Kailas alleged that when he informed the police station, a team of constables immediately reached the spot. However, PVP and his men threatened the cops also. " On two days 23 & 24 June, he (referring to YSRCP leader PVP ) illegally trespassed with criminal intimidation and threatening. He armed with private goons about 10-15 person forcibly entered the society and threatened the families. He warns them of dare consequences if they dint listen to him, a house was ransacked by his goons'.

Later the cops took the photographs of the spot and left the spot. He also claimed that the violent acts of PVP and his men left his family in shock. He said his elderly mother and six-year-old son were terrified.

Police later registered a case against PVP under relevant sections of law.

ACP Banjara Hills K Srinivasa Rao told media persons that Kailas has alleged that PVP abused him and obstructed the construction activity.

As per the residential society rules, nobody can stop construction activity in the area, except the society and its authorized persons. He said further investigation is on
