Abrar Bhat
Abrar Bhat is a Multi-lingual multimedia and broadcast journalist, with a career spanning over about 14 years. Hailing from J&K, he has worked for various leading media organizations, where he reported India-Pakistan relations, Kashmir conflict and community based issues. He was a founder member of etv Bharat (Asia's largest digital media outlet) and later with the daily pioneer. Bhat is a member of DIGIPUB News India Foundation, an amalgam of top digital media houses in India, founded by Alt News, Boomlive, Newsclick, Newslaundry, scroll, the Newsminute, the Wire and others. Bhat is of the opinion that after Newspaper, TV and digital media journalism, fact check is a different kind of journalism and a journalist must also be exposed to the tools of recognising and debunking the fake news.
