Actor Siddharth turns 41, wishes pour in

Hyderabad: Siddharth Suryanarayan, an actor who has also tried his hand in playback singing, producing and screenwriting turned 41 on Friday. His upcoming thriller starring Divyansha Kaushik, "Takkar" directed by Karthik G Krish was set to hit the theatres on the 17th of April, 2020. But the ongoing pandemic has left his fans worried.

Siddharth will be spotted in another project, Indian 2, a sequel to the movie Indian, released in 1996, alongside Kamal Hassan, Kajal Agarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simha and Priya Bhavani Shankar, if things pan out as planned, in 2021.

This ‘Jigarthanda’ star started his career in 2002, as an assistant director to Mani Ratnam, for Kannathil Muthamittal and became an instant hit as an actor with the film Boys. His movie, Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana made him in an overnight star in Tollywood. He went on to do nearly 35 to 40 films in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, English and Malayalam in a span of 18 years.

However, he has never confined himself to being just an entertainer. He has been vocal about any untoward happenings in the country, be it a calamity or a protest. He took active part in the protest against CAA in Valluvar Kotam, Tamil Nadu along with 600 others and was even booked for the same. He has tweeted the threats he and his family have been receiving in its aftermath.

Recently he was in the news as his Twitter account disappeared and people wondered if it was because of his strong opinions.

He, along with radio jockey, R. Balaji helped reinstate the lives of the people stricken by the floods in Cuddalore and Chennai in Tamil Nadu.

He constantly tweeted on the developments in the area and also saw to it that help reached them. He has been donning the role of an activist and has been unfailingly candid and outspoken on the happenings in the country.

He has also starred and played a pivotal role in Netflix's, "Leila", an anti-utopian drama with Huma Qureshi. Ensuing hits like,"Bommarillu" and "Rang De Basanti", his fans couldn't stop swooning over his cutesy looks. Let's wish this heart-throb a blessed birthday and more success to look forward to!
