Chiranjeevi's brother Nagababu calls Godse patriot, sparks controversy

Hyderabad: Tollywood actor "Mega Brother" Nagababu Konidela's tweet remembering Nathuram Godse as a patriot on the occasion of his birth anniversary has sparked controversy.

“Today is Nathuram Godse’s birthday. He was a true patriot. Godse killing Gandhi is debatable, but his side of the argument was not presented in any media. Media worked for the government (today, too, it is the same). Though Godse knew he would become a criminal by killing Gandhi, he did what he wanted. His love for the nation cannot be questioned. He is a true patriot," Nagababu, the brother of Tollywood megastar and former Union minister Chiranjeevi, tweeted.

He also shared a link of a 10-minute video which explained the Godse's last words.
