We often find star actors taking part in their birthday celebrations along with some of their enthusiastic fans. As part of the celebrations, some fans also organise blood donation camps and take part in various such activities. However, in the wake of the Coronavirus, actors are requesting their fans to not celebrate their birthday.
Actor Ram Charan, in a public note, appealed to his fans to cancel his birthday celebrations on 27 March and asked them to avoid public gatherings. Further, as a birthday gift, he requested his fans to be vigilant and spread awareness about Coronavirus. Similarly, senior actor Mohan Babu also issued a statement urging his fans not to celebrate his birthday this year.
The pandemic has halted film shootings and other related activities across the country. Bollywood actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra have launched awareness campaigns on social media to sensitize people about COVID 19. Even Telugu actors like Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, and other biggies of the industry have requested everyone to be alert and safe.
Recently, Ram Charan and Junior NTR released a video to raise awareness about the pandemic. In the video, the actors explained the measures suggested by WHO to reduce the spread of the virus. The duo also requested the people be careful against any fake news circulating on the social media.
In these testing times, celebrities are coming forward and taking initiatives to spread awareness. So far, in our fight against the novel Coronavirus, the celebrities have been doing their part.
