Gandhi hospital pathologist tests COVID +Ve, second case from Mahindra hills

Hailing from Mahendra Hills of Secunderabad, he was leading the departmentās activities since the pandemic broke out in the state.Further,a PG student at Gandhi hospital was also tested positive, according to unconfirmed reports.
So far, more than six healthcare professionals working at Osmania hospital were tested positive. They are currently under treatment at Gandhi hospital.
In the past, a nurse working at Niloufer hospital was tested positive. However, she was discharged after recovery. A doctor heading the COVID cell at King Koti hospital was also tested positive.
Since the virus is slowly spreading among the medical fraternity, the frontline workers are now worried about their families.
With cases surging, medical fraternity wants full-fledged operations to be started at Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences(TIMS) to accommodate more patients and provide quality treatment.
