Director of TS police academy V.V Srinivasa Rao escapes miraculous
By Newsmeter Network Published on 15 July 2020 5:04 PM GMTHyderabad: Senior IPS officer and in-charge director of the Raja Bahadur Venkat Rama Reddy Telangana State Police Academy (TSPA) V.V Srinivasa Rao was injured in an accident near the Outer Ring Road at Narsingi late on 15 July.
His vehicle overturned near the police academy, injuring the driver and the top officer. They were immediately rushed to a hospital in Gachibowli.

According to the police, the senior officer was on his way to the academy from Gachibowli when his vehicle overturned near the APPA junction, a few hundred meters away from the TSPA. The driver was also injured in the incident. They were immediately rushed to a hospital in Gachibowli.
Mr. Rao, who is also the chairman of the Telangana state police recruitment board, was appointed as the in-charge director of the police academy after its director V.K Singh resigned. Mr. Rao was recently promoted to the rank of additional DG.
