Dorasani's lead actor, Anand Deverakonda is the next sought-after hero

Hyderabad: Drawing inspiration from his elder brother Vijay Deverakonda, Anand Deverakonda made his screen debut with the romantic period drama Dorasani. Although the movie raised expectations after its theatrical trailer was released, Dorasani, however, tanked at the box office. Vijay too admitted in an interview that his brother Anand did not listen to him when he asked him not to chose movies as a career.

Before Dorasani's released, Anand was badly trolled by netizens for various reasons. One of the reasons was when he decided to shake a leg with his co-star, Shivathmika Rajasekhar, who also made her debut in Dorasani. However, Anand does not seem disturbed by any of these incidents on social media, as he is already gearing up for his next movie. The movie is being produced by Anand Prasad, while it will be directed by newcomer, Vinod.

Reports claim that Anand has also signed on to a third project, which will be directed by Damodar Atthada. The movie is being bankrolled by Vijay Mattapalli and Pradeep Errabelli under the banner Thanga Productions. The movie is touted to be a concept based thriller flick. Despite having no success with the first film and no name in terms of acting, Anand has left everyone in the industry shocked, as producers are coming forward to invest in a movie with him. The rumour mill speculates that Vijay Deverakonda might be behind the deal.
