Except malls, all shops re-open in Hyderabad today

Since the permission to open alternative shops is given since since May 16 on 'odd-even basis' , people are crowding the shops, officials observed. Hence it was decided to permit all the shops expect shopping maalls in Hyderabad, said Chief Minister K ChandraShekar Rao following a high-level meeting held at Pragathi Bhavan on Wednesday.
However the approval comes with a set of guidelines. The Chief Minister reiterated that customers and shop owners are must wear masks, maintain social distance and follow the Covid guidelines strictly.
The government has also given a nod for RTC bus services to districts, during curfew hours. Buses coming from the districts will be allowed to reach Jubliee Bus Station and also at the MGBS bus station. However, the suspension of city bus services in Hyderabad will continue as it is, said the Chief minister.
