Fact Check: Air hostess in viral image is not President Ramnath Kovind's daughter
An image of two air hostesses is widely being shared on social media. Social media users claim that the air hostess wearing a red uniform is President Ramnath Kovind’s daughter Swathi.

Social media users claim that the air hostess wearing a red uniform is President Ramnath Kovind's daughter Swathi.
"How many of you know this woman? Her name is Swati!! The claim is False.
NewsMeter began its investigation by performing a keyword search about President Ramnath Kovind's daughter, Swathi. During the search, we were directed to a news report published by the Times of India on July 21, 2017. The report had published an image where Prime Minister Narendra Modi had clicked an image with the Presidents' family. The image also included Swathi.
Many Facebook posts that had shared the viral image had also included the real image of Swathi, which was different from the air hostess in the viral image.
Apart from this, NewsMeter had earlier debunked a similar claim. It was claimed that President Ram Nath Kovind's daughter Swati who was working as an Air India flight attendant has been assigned ground duties because of security reasons.
On further investigation, we performed a Google Reverse Image Search of the viral image, which led us to the website of Getty Images on November 06, 2006. The description of the image read: "Air India air hostesses, wear their new uniform atop the Air India flight, during the delivery of the Boeing 737-800 Commercial Jetliner for Air India in New Delhi, 06 November 2006. Air India celebrated the delivery of the first of its planned order of 68 Boeing jetliners, the Boeing Next-Generation 737-800 Commercial Jetliner, at the Indhira Gandhi International Airport. "
We lastly compared the viral images of the air hostess and the original image of Swathi.
Hence, it is evident that the claim made is False. The air hostess in the viral image is not President Ramnath Kovind's daughter Swathi.
