Fact:The claim is false. The video shows a public meeting organised on November 15 in Netrang of Gujarat.
Hyderabad: The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) coalition has registered a victory with 202 seats out of 243 in the Bihar Assembly Elections. The counting of votes by the Election Commission of India took place on November 14.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) emerged as the single-largest party in Bihar with 89 seats, followed by Janata-Dal (United) at 85 seats. In this context, a video showing a huge crowd is going viral on social media with the claim that protests erupted in Bihar after the BJP’s win.
The viral video has an overlay on top with the text, ‘VOTE CHOR GADDI CHHODD’, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s image is also seen on this overlay. The Indian National Congress (INC) leader Rahul Gandhi popularised this slogan, referring to the alleged ‘election stealing’.
The video was shared on Instagram with the caption, “Protest after Bihar Election #truth #biharelection2025 #protestaganistbjp.” (Archive)

Fact Check
NewsMeter found that the viral claim is false. The video is unrelated and is from Gujarat, not Bihar.
There are reports of protests staged by the opposition Congress party workers in Bihar following the elections, alleging ‘Vote Chori’ by the BJP. However, we did not find any news reports or credible social media posts stating that the viral visuals show protests in Bihar.
Using reverse image search, we found the same footage shared on Instagram on November 16 with the text, “Super Zankar… With full public, Jay Adivasi Johar Adivasi”. The words Super Jankar can be seen written on a truck carrying people in the viral video.
Keyword searches for Super Zankar led us to an Instagram profile ‘super_zankar_band_rajpipla_’. This user has shared videos showing a huge crowd participating in a rally. One such video was shared on November 16 with the text, “Super Zankar… full blast in Netrang.”
By analysis of the video’s keyframes, we found that both the viral video and this Instagram video show a three-storeyed white building with a cell tower behind it and the Indian National flag nearby. A comparison of the screenshots can be found below.
Using Google Maps, we found the location of the building as JK Complex in Netrang, Bharuch District of Gujarat.
Several places from the viral video can be traced to the same location in Netrang, such as the stores ‘The Fashion Hub’ and the ‘Great White Electricals’.
It is clear that the video is from Netrang, Gujarat. According to a report published by Gujarat First on November 15, a huge gathering was organised in Netrang on the same day. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Dediapada MLA Chaitarbhai Vasava organised the public meeting for the 150th birth anniversary of Birsa Munda. This meeting was reportedly attended by lakhs of people from the tribal community.
The report linked to an X post by the MLA in which videos showing the crowd at the public meeting can be seen.
#उलगुलान #Birsa_munda pic.twitter.com/7nLtl7xIG9

The viral video shows a crowd gathered at a public meeting organised on the occasion of Birsa Munda Jayanti in Netrang of Bihar. The claim is false.
