FACT CHECK:

We performed a reverse image search and found the image from an October 2020 report by YEMEN NEWS NOW. The article states that a 12-year-old boy was beaten by his father in Al Mahwit Governorate (Yemen). The father tied the boy with ropes and tortured him violently by beating him up with wires and whips.

We also found the images in a report by a Morocco-based news website that stated the images were falsely passed as a local incident but the authorities clarified that the incident took place in Yemen.
