Fact:The claim is false. The screenshot of the voters’ roll is fabricated.
Hyderabad: Ahead of the Jubilee Hills bypoll, political allegations and counter-allegations are intensifying.
The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) has accused the previous BRS government of ‘vote theft’ and irregularities in the voter list. Meanwhile, BRS working president KT Rama Rao alleged that the Congress government added 23,000 new voters illegally while deleting 12,000 existing ones.
Amid these allegations, a screenshot resembling a voters’ list surfaced online, showing popular Tollywood actresses Rakul Preet Singh, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Tamannaah Bhatia as registered voters in the Jubilee Hills constituency.
The post alleged that their voter cards were registered at BRS leader KT Rama Rao’s house address.

Fact Check
NewsMeter found that the claim is false. The viral screenshot is fabricated.
On close observation, we noticed that the EPIC number (voter ID number) for both Rakul Preet Singh and Tamannaah Bhatia is the same – WKH4450729. This is impossible, as each voter is assigned a unique EPIC number.
Similarly, the house number mentioned for all three actresses is identical – 8-2-120/110/4, raising further suspicion about the authenticity of the document.
When we searched for voter details using EPIC number WKH4450729 on the Telangana CEO (Chief Electoral Officer) website, the result showed ‘Not found.’
We also checked the other number seen in the screenshot – WKH4450946 – which belongs to Rokkam Srinivas, a genuine voter in Jubilee Hills. No record of Samantha Ruth Prabhu was found under this EPIC number.
Are Rakul Preet, Samantha and Tamannaah registered as voters in Hyderabad?
To verify whether the actresses are registered voters in Hyderabad, we checked credible media reports.
ANI had posted on May 20, 2024, that Tamannaah Bhatia cast her vote in Mumbai during the Maharashtra elections.

Another ANI post on November 20, 2024, stated that Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani voted in Mumbai as well.

ANI’s 2019 post showed Samantha and Naga Chaitanya voting in Gachibowli, which falls under Serilingampally, not Jubilee Hills.

Further, TV9 Telugu, on October 16, reported that fake voter IDs with the names and photos of popular Tollywood heroines were circulating online. The channel reported that Hyderabad district election officials took the matter seriously and filed a complaint with the police to trace those responsible.
A News18 report published on October 16, titled ‘Jubilee Hills Bypoll: Fake Voter ID Cards of Tamannaah Bhatia, Samantha, Rakul Preet Singh Found’, confirmed that the Election Commission officials are investigating the matter.
We also found the official response of the District Election Officer, Hyderabad, on X, which stated that the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO), Jubilee Hills, has urged citizens not to believe or share unverified social media content regarding the morphing of voter lists in the Jubilee Hills Assembly Constituency.
According to the statement, it has come to the notice of the Election Authority that false posts are being circulated alleging that film actresses’ names appear in the voter rolls with morphed photos, modified addresses, and fake EPIC numbers.
Following a complaint from the Assistant Electoral Registration Officer, Jubilee Hills, a case has been registered by the Madhura Nagar Police under Cr. No. 686/2025 U/s 336(4), 353(1)(C) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

The viral screenshot claiming that Tamannaah Bhatia, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Rakul Preet Singh are registered voters in the Jubilee Hills constituency is fake. The voter roll shown in the post is fabricated, and official records confirm that the actresses, except for Samantha, vote in Mumbai, not Hyderabad.
Therefore, the claim is false.
