Hyderabad: A picture of Lord Shri Ram and Mark Zuckerberg has been posted on Instagram. Users claim that Facebook founder has said that the name Lord Ram is written more than 2 billion times on the social media website every day.


Factcheck:

This information is false.

NewsMeter did a thorough Google and Bing search and there was no report corroborating the claim. There is no mention of Mark Zuckerberg ever having said anything about Shri Ram being written on Facebook.

To further refine our research, we even looked at the Facebook newsroom page which is where all updates are posted and that search yielded no such results.


We checked the Facebook trends of 2021 by the official website and have found no such trend or report regarding the same.

These were refuted by several other fact checks. However, the same has resurfaced in 2021.
