Factcheck Team

We have a separate and independent fact-checking unit that operates autonomously from the editorial functions of NewsMeter. Neither the promoters nor the advertisers influence the editorial policies of the fact-checking team. The team is led by a designated editor and reporters.

Our Fact Checks do not contain opinions of any sort, but simply state facts. We also ensure that anyone being recruited into the fact-check team does not have any affiliation with political parties and advocacy organisations.
