The Vampire Diaries’ Ian Somerhalder turns human for his Netflix debut in V-Wars
By Candice Philistia Published on 20 Nov 2019 12:16 PM GMTHyderabad: V-Wars is a new Netflix vampire-thriller starring Ian Somerhalder as Dr Luther Swann who is reportedly the main character of this show. The American science fiction show is based on a comic called V-Wars written by Jonathan Maberry and Alan Robinson. The story is about a virus that turns people into vampires, and Ian ends up being dragged into this world when his best friend Michael Fayne, played by Adrian Holmes turns into a vampire.
Unlike The Vampire Diaries, Ian Somerhalder will be batting for the human side in V-Wars. It shouldn’t be hard since he had a good experience as a vampire for the former. Sources say that Ian also directed two episodes and is an ex producer for the Netflix series as well.
