Guntur sub- inspector accused of cheating woman after marriage vow

Guntur: A woman on Thursday lodged a complaint with Narsaraopeta Rural police station in Guntur district against a Sub- Inspector of Police Jagadeesh alleging that he exploited her after promising her of marriage and she became mother of a boy . She also alleged that Jagadeesh has been threatening her and her four year- old boy with dire consequences.

The victim woman said that when she has some disputes with her husband in 2013, she met the Sub- Inspector of Police Muppalla in Guntur district, Jagadeesh and lodged a complaint against her husband.

The Sub- Inspector took her mobile phone number and used to make calls her on the guise of settling the case. One day, he asked the woman to come his house to discuss the case. When she went to his home, the police officer raped her and promised to marry her.

He allegedly sexually exploited her for many occasions under the pretext of marriage and love. She has given birth to a baby boy around four years ago and Jagadeesh is biological father of the boy.

Believing the sweet words of the Sub Inspector Jagadeesh, the woman separated from her husband. However, victim woman came to know that Jagadeesh is already married and he denied to marry her and he has been threatening her.

While Jagadeesh's friends are trying for settlement, the woman is seeking police action against him. Extending support to the victim, Andhra Pradesh Mahila Commission Chairperson Vasireddy Padma asked the police to register a case against the Sub- Inspector Jagadeesh and investigate the case
