Ahead of Republic day, Army imposes mid-night road closure

Hyderabad: Ahead of the Republic Day, the Army authorities, here in Hyderabad have announced mid-night road closure in the AOC areas. Ambulances or emergency medical cases will be permitted with proper check and verification.

In an official statement issued on January 24th, the Army authorities said, “The alert level has been enhanced across the country in view of security situation prevailing with the Republic Day celebrations. Military establishments are in the target list of anti-national elements’.

Keeping in view the enhanced security alert, the Bolarum road falling in the military establishment will be closed, from 10 PM of 24 to 6 PM of January 27th 2020.

Besides this, the Gough road, Wellington road, AOC road and Entrenchment road will also remain closed during nights from 10 PM to 6 AM.

‘The citizens are requested to cooperate with military authorities for maintenance for high-security alert’ appealed the officials.
