TGRERA suspends Shrivari’s Brundavanam project in Gandipet over delivery lapses

Hyderabad: The Telangana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) has suspended all activities related to Shrivari’s Brundavanam, a residential project by Shrivari Constructions, citing significant delays in delivering possession to homebuyers.

Multiple complaints filed by allottees

According to a press release issued by Telangana RERA, several complaints were received against the promoter, P Uma Devi, wife of Late Narayana Raju, proprietor of Shrivari Constructions.

The complaints alleged that despite making substantial payments, buyers were not handed over their flats within the promised timelines.

Project details and delay timeline

The project, comprising 80 flats, is being developed in joint collaboration with landowners on an equal share basis at Padma Shri Hills, Bandlaguda Jagir Municipality, Gandipet Mandal, Ranga Reddy District.

As per agreements of sale, possession was scheduled for February 2023 and May 2024. However, construction remains incomplete, leaving allottees in distress.

Interim orders passed under RERA Act

After preliminary adjudication of the complaints (CC No.1/2025 and batch cases), Telangana RERA passed interim orders on June 23.

Invoking Section 7(3) of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, the Authority kept the project in abeyance. The promoter has been restrained from marketing, advertising, booking, offering for sale or entering into any agreement related to the flats until further orders.

Ban on sale registrations

Further, the sub-registrar of Gandipet, Ranga Reddy District, has been directed not to register any sale transactions pertaining to this project until further instructions are issued.

Public advisory

In its advisory, Telangana RERA has strictly cautioned the public against entering into any transaction or agreement related to Shrivari’s Brundavanam until the matter is resolved.

Buyers and investors have been urged to remain alert and verify project status before proceeding with any dealings.
