Hyderabad: A DSM employee who has been working for DSM in Building No.20 at Raheja Mindspace at Hyderabad has been suspected for coronavirus. Her sample has been sent for retesting to Pune Virology Institute, while she is being treated in isolation ward at Gandhi hospital.

However, the government has confirmed that no positive case has been reported from the IT corridor and that precautions are being taken.

In the light of one of its employees tested COVID-19 positive, DSM has sent an official mail to all its Hyderabad employees to take precautions to minimize the further spread of the infection. The DSM buildings in Mindspace and Brightspace have been reportedly closed for cleaning purposes.

According to one the employees at DSM, the patient had attended meetings at office that day, and doctors are advising to keep the entire team under isolation.

Following this, companies located in the same building have advised employees to work from home. Employees have also been advised to use hand sanitisers frequently, and avoid elevators. The companies have also assured employees that there will be no impact on leave or attendance for availing Work From Home, due to the current scenario.
