Not possible to conduct COVID test on the dead : CM KCR

The health department on Monday, did not release a medical bulletin. However, In an unofficial communication issued from the health minister's office, it said 92 new cases and 5 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. With this the death toll in the state climbs to 142 and total cases 3294 positive cases( minus the discharged/cured patients), On Monday, 392 patients were discharged
Clarifying on the Strength of government hospitals, a statement from the Chief Minister's office said, "The government hospitals in the state have the capacity, facilities and well-equipped to treat Corona virus patients what ever the number may be.Gandhi hospital has a capacity to treat more than 2,000 patients with 1000 bed equipped with Oxygen facilities.At present only 247 Covid patients are undergoing treatment.It is not possible to conduct Covid Tests on all those who died and the High Courtās direction in this regard cannot be implemented" The CMO office informed.
However,It is to note that as on June 7th, 1771 were admitted to Gandhi and undergoing treatment, the official bulletin said. And on Monday 392 were discharged.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, on Monday, held a review meeting on the spread of Corona Virus, measures taken to contain it and other related issues at Pragathi Bhavan. "There are 14 Lakh N95 Masks ready, besides ventilators, Test Kits, Tablets and other equipment, there is no scarcity. The Medical and Health department is ready to give treatment to any number of patients" the statement said.
The CMO also shared that, patients under 50 years of age are discharged from Gandhi Hospital. Also patients with no, fever, cough being discharged.
