Kadapa SI suspended for thrashing youngsters during lockdown 

Kadapa : In a blatant display of power and authority , Vara Prasad, a sub-inspector of police serving at Kapada police station, thrashed youngsters who crossed his path during lockdown being observed in the state.

As the video of him ( beating the youngster) went viral on social media, Superintendent of Police, Kadapa, KKN Amburajan issued orders of suspension against the Sub-Inspector of police.

The locals said that the police officer, Vara Prasad abused many people and beaten the youngster before mercilessly beating them for defying the lockdown. Ironically, some of the police personnel video-graphed while the SI took the cane.

In the videos, Vara Prasad was seen rotating the baton like a cop in the movies, thrashing the youngsters and beating them with the lathi.

The netizens criticized the police officer for his arrogance and violent behavior to enforce the lockdown. EOM
