Hyderabad: South Indian cuisine goes global, thanks to AIDU

Hyderabad: AIDU, a newly unveiled South Indian Kitchen and Bar in Hyderabad's Jubilee Hills, is making waves with its mission to take South Indian cuisine to the global map.

Aptly named, AIDU translates to "five" in Telugu and Kannada, symbolizing the incorporation of flavors and dishes from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Telangana, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh under one roof.

Aman Chainani, Managing Director at AIDU, expressed the essence of the culinary journey: "In every meticulous detail, we pay homage to the vibrant tapestry of the South Indian peninsula. Each dish we craft whispers a tale, intricately weaving together the diverse culinary legacies of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Telangana, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh into a seamless narrative of flavor and tradition."

AIDU promises an extraordinary haven for epicurean delight, offering an immersive experience that spans the culinary traditions of all five states. The menu boasts standout dishes like Stuffed Paniyaram, Meen Pollichattu, Chintakaya Kodi Kebab, Kuttu Parota Motta Curry, Manglorean Fish Curry, and more. The cocktail selection, including Mogratini, Thengai Tipple, and Neelambiri, draws inspiration from the rich ingredients and vibrant culture of South India.

AIDU's ambiance reflects the essence of the South Indian belt, creating an inviting space for guests to unwind and indulge in the pleasures of casual dining. The symphony of flavors on the menu promises a culinary experience that caters to every taste with finesse and delight.

"Our heartfelt homage to the South Indian peninsula is evident in every detail, from the carefully selected spices to the melodies that fill the air. Each dish tells a story, weaving together the rich culinary heritage of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Telangana, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh into a seamless narrative," states Aman Chainani.

At AIDU, it's not just dining; it's a transformative voyage, a rediscovery of tradition, and a rejuvenation of the spirit. The establishment invites diners to uncover its hidden treasures, allowing their senses to sway to its rhythm and their hearts to resonate with its narrative.

“AIDU extends a warm invitation to patrons, encouraging them to emerge not only as diners but as storytellers, interweaving their tales into the vibrant mosaic of AIDU's essence. It's an opportunity to immerse oneself in the vibrant flavors, traditions, and culture of South India, creating lasting memories that linger long after the meal has ended” concluded Chainani.
