With the arrival of the monsoon, the urge to enjoy comfort food becomes irresistible. Xena Brewery & Kitchenā€™s revamped menu, featuring new seasonal specials, offers the perfect brunch experience in Jubilee Hills for Rs 2,500 for two.

Among the newly launched monsoon cocktails, the Fruity Spiced Cinnamon stood out. This rum, apricot, and cinnamon-based drink, garnished with a slice of orange and burnt cinnamon, provides a comforting aroma and flavour. Other cocktails featured warm spices, such as Mulled Wine and Bittered Honey Tea, complementing the monsoon ambience.




For appetisers, the Tangdi Kebab impressed with its flavours and juicy texture served with mint chutney. The Express Brewery Lunch Combos offered a quick yet wholesome meal, featuring vegetarian and meat-based curries with roti, rice, salad, appetisers and raita. The Chicken Lababdar combo, with its rustic and creamy flavours, was particularly satisfying.

The meal concluded with the creamy and mildly sweetened Ras Malai Tres Leches, an absolute must-try.

Culinary Adventure at Tiger Lily CafƩ and Bistro

Tiger Lily CafƩ and Bistro, known for its cosy atmosphere, has introduced intriguing new dishes to its menu. The familiar, inviting space encourages its patrons to relax and enjoy our meal in the al fresco dining area. For Rs 1,200 for two, this cafƩ in Jubilee Hills offers a delightful experience.

Starting with the Tiger Lily Basil Chicken, tender chunks of chicken deep-fried and tossed in a blend of sweet and sour sauces, we experienced an explosion of flavours. The Moroccan Grilled Chicken, marinated in Moroccan spices and curd, was grilled to perfection and served with Tzatziki, a popular Mediterranean dip.




The Turkish Chicken Bowl was a vibrant dish featuring smoked rice topped with Turkish-style marinated chicken, hummus, and pita bread. The Butter Chicken, served with tender white rice and rich, creamy sauce, provided pure bliss. The meal concluded with the Opera Dessert, which had a subtle hint of coffee and balanced sweetness.

A Unique Experience at Daily Rituals

Daily Rituals, a newly opened bar and kitchen in Jubilee Hills, Spanning three floors ā€” lower ground, ground, and rooftop dining ā€” this establishment offers a versatile dining experience for up to 400 guests, with prices starting at Rs 1,500 for two.

The ambience, featuring lush greenery, comfortable seating, and elegant lamps, exudes a sophisticated charm. The dƩcor, inspired by natural elements, includes slate stone walls and pre-cast concrete floors, creating a serene environment. Each floor offers a unique experience, with a stylish bar counter on the lower ground and an open-sky dining experience on the rooftop.




Beginning with Avocado Puchka Chaat with Angoori Chutney, a gourmet twist on street food. The Mutton Lukhmi, reinvented with shredded meat and spices, offered a unique take on the traditional Hyderabadi dish. The Chilli Potato Puff Samosa, reminiscent of school days, provided a nostalgic touch. The Telangana Chilli Chicken, featuring tender pieces coated in a special green paste, was a fiery yet irresistible treat.

Among the main courses, the Bandi-Style Noodles, pan-fried and spicy, served as the perfect comfort food. The Spaghetti Aglio Olio, packed with vegetables and cheese, offered a delightful change from Indian fare. The Butter Chicken Kulcha, featuring a sumptuous butter chicken topping with a spongy kulcha, was simply perfect.

For dessert, the Shahatoot Malai Panna, a beloved mulberry dessert, was a highlight. The meal concluded with refreshing mocktails, including Melon Drama, Strawberry Basil Cooler, and Cucumber Chilli Mint Cooler, making for an overall amazing experience.
