Malkajgiri Hawkers decide to halt newspaper distribution till March 31

Hyderabad: Malkajgiri Hawkers Association has decided to stop the distribution of newspapers till March 31 as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The Association has also issued a solicitation letter to the newspaper agents and the owners of newspapers informing them about the decision

"We are a part of the battle that the nation is fighting against coronavirus. We will again start the distribution of newspapers once this coronavirus pandemic is over. We hereby request all our customers to cooperate with us," said Mohan Rao, a member of Hawkers Association,

Around 33 people have tested positive in Telangana. Three new cases were reported yesterday in the state. More than 500 districts in 30 states are observing a complete lockdown till March 31, 2020. Corno positive cases have now crossed 500 in India. Ten people have died in the country so far.
