The film's title is a throwback to iconic martial arts flick, 'Enter the Dragon’, which marked Bruce Lee's debut in Hollywood. The film was a cult classic that set the stage for many more martial arts flicks.
RGV had released the trailer of 'Enter the Girl Dragon’ on November 27, 2019, which marked late Bruce Lee's 80th birth anniversary. The trailer has garnered a lot of attention online with moviegoers eagerly waiting for the film's release.
The maverick director had earlier shared a photograph of him signing a deal with a Chinese producer for the film. The film's international trailer was released on December 13 at Bruce Lee's home town of Foshan City in China.
'Enter the Girl Dragon' is a pet project of RGV. Though the film has been delayed for long, it seems that RGV is finally gearing up for its release.
Pooja Bhalekar has undergone rigorous training to hone her martial arts skills for the role. She has also worked out hard to do justice with the highly demanding lead role.
Apart from this, RGV is also working on a web series. He had created a big stir last year in both Telugu states with the release of Lakshmi's NTR, which was his "realistic" take on the life and times of yesteryear's actor NTR. He had also released Kamma Rajyam lo Kadapa Redlu, which was a political thriller.
