NTA extends dates for submission of exam application forms
By Anusha Puppala Published on 31 March 2020 10:44 AM GMTHyderabad: National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the dates for submission of Online Application Forms for various Examinations given the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown.
The last date for National Council for Hotel Management (NCHM) JEE 2020 has been extended from March 31 to April 31, 2020. The last date for application form for UGC National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) has been extended to May 16, 2020.
The last date for online applications for Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) 2020 and Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Exam (JNUEE) 2020 has been extended to April 30 from March 31, 2020.
For Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Ph.D. Admission Test and Open MAT, the date has been extended from March 23 to April 30, 2020.
The last date for CSIR- National Eligibility Test (CSIR-NET) has been extended to May 15. Last date for All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test has been extended to May, 31,2020.
The submission of Online Application Forms will be accepted up to 4 pm and submission of fee up to 11.50 pm. The requisite fee can be paid through Credit, Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI and PAYTM.
The detailed schedule mentioning revised dates for downloading of Admit Cards and Examination will be displayed separately on respective examination websites and www.nta.ac.in, after assessment of the situation after April 15, 2020.
NTA has advised the students and parents not to worry about the examination. NTA has also requested the parents to help young students utilize this time for preparing for the examination and focus on critical concepts of learning.
