Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan, CPI, CPI (M) leaders meet KCR in Hyd

Hyderabad: Chief Minister of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan met Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on January 8, Saturday at Pragathi Bhavan in Hyderabad. The national leadership of both CPI and CPI (M) were present at the meeting with KCR on Saturday.

The CPI (M) leaders came to Hyderabad to attend the party's three-day national committee meetings, while the CPI leaders were in the city to participate in the 16th national conference of All India Youth Federation (AIYF), an affiliate of the CPI.


The CPI (M) and CPI leaders met KCR separately. The Communist leaders discussed with the CM on various issues including the current political scenario in the country, Telangana's development, and other issues.


Besides Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan, CPI (M) National General Secretary Sitaram Yechuri, Tripura former CM Manik Sircar, CPI (M) central politburo members Ramachandran Pillai, Balakrishnan, MA Baby, and others were present at the meeting with KCR.

CPI national leaders who met KCR included the party's general secretary D Raja, CPI parliamentary party leader, Kerala MP Binoy Viswam, Kerala Revenue Minister Rajan, Telangana CPI general secretary Chada Venkat Reddy, state secretaries, Palla Venkat Reddy, Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao, and others.


State Ministers Sri KT Rama Rao, Mahmood Ali, Prashanth Reddy, former MP and State Planning Board Vice-Chairman Vinod Kumar, MLCs Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, Rajya Sabha member J Santosh Kumar, TRS general secretary Sravan Kumar Reddy, and others also participated in the meeting.
