Rajamouli gets nostalgic as his debut movie turns eighteen years old

Director SS Rajamouli turned nostalgic and recalled memories with Jr NTR from the sets of Student No 1, which was released on September 2001. It has been 18 years, and the duo continued their good relation throughout.

After a big hit like Baahubali, Rajamouli is currently working on RRR with Ram Charan and Tarak. Sharing a picture with NTR from the sets of Student No 1, Rajamouli writes that coincidentally, they are both at Ramoji Film City, where it all began for both of them.

“18 years!! #StudentNo1 released today. Coincidentally we are in RFC. So much has changed. He’s grown leaner, me older and both wiser. (sic),” Rajamouli wrote about his experience working with NTR and the bond they share. Student No 1 will always be one of the most memorable movies for Rajamouli as it is his directorial debut.

Rajamouli keeps remembering his experiences working for Student No 1 now and then. The director even spoke about his experience with Tarak from the sets of Student No 1. He had mentioned that he used to share the same room with Tarak during their Switzerland schedule. “My bedtime is 9, and Tarak used to watch TV until 12. I used to curse him at that time because the programme he was watching was in some unknown language and about agricultural procedures,” Rajamouli had said earlier.
