New services: MeeSeva in Telangana now offers slot booking for marriage, market value certification

With the move, the e-governance platform aims to enhance citizen convenience and transparency, with approvals for land and apartment valuations promised within 24 hours and streamlined marriage registrations now available.

The Land Market Value service allows users to obtain valuations by submitting details like district and village at MeeSeva centres or online, with the sub-registrar office processing applications swiftly.

Similarly, the Marriage Registration service introduces a slot booking system, requiring couples to submit documents including wedding photos, residential proof and age certificates, with certificates issued directly by the sub-registrar office (SRO) post-approval.

These services, part of MeeSeva’s expanding suite, reduce bureaucratic delays and physical visits, benefiting citizens, the construction sector and families.

The initiative aligns with Telangana’s digital governance vision, including integrations with RTA, PAN and sand-booking services, said Sridhar Babu.

Further expansions, such as T-Fiber and additional kiosks, are planned to bring government services closer to the public, cutting red tape. For details, citizens can visit the official MeeSeva website or contact local centres.
